When you make payments through Solar Staff, we’ll automatically generate all your accounting documents:

• Invoice for advance payment
• Work acceptance certificate (known internally as «Act»)
• VAT invoice for tax accounting

Want a reconciliation statement? Head to Documents → Acts, choose your timeframe, enter your email, and hit “Request”. We’ll process it within 7 business days.

Keep in mind that documents are based on acceptance dates, not assignment dates. So if you assign work on August 30 but accept it on September 2, it’ll show up in your September documents.

You’ll find everything in your Solar Staff account under Documents → Acts.

Here’s the simple breakdown:

Total deposit = Payment amount + 6% service fee + 20% VAT

For instance, to pay your freelancers RUB 100,000, you’ll need to deposit RUB 127,200 to cover our fee and VAT.

Solar Staff supports these three tax statuses:

• Individual (default)
• Self-employed
• Individual entrepreneur

The tax status doesn’t affect which tasks contractors can take on, unless a client specifically needs a contractor with certain tax arrangements.
